We will be hosting the 11th edition of VentureConnect on 3rd June 2015, in partnership with the ASE StartUp, the business incubator of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). The event is organized by Govnet (www.govnet.ro) and powered by the Biris Goran law firm (www.birisgoran.ro) and will take place in Aula Magna at ASE (6 Piata Romana, Bucharest).
As you know, VentureConnect has welcomed over the last five years more than 400 projects and businesses from the CEE region and the US, with entrepreneurs having benefited from various special mentoring sessions to dedicated meetings with potential investors and business mentors. Now, at the 11th edition, we have a special guest for the first time in Romania, Tina Baker, co-founder of JAG Shaw Baker and member of the Seedcamp Advisory Board. Tina has over 20 years of experience representing venture capital funds and emerging technology companies with respect to international financings, exits and commercial transactions, and will discuss with our guests key issues regarding “How to make your company attractive to foreign investors“.
Since its first edition in 2010, VentureConnect has become one of the premier pitching events in this region of the European Union (EU), having selected online and IT businesses from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Macedonia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Great Britain as well as the United States. Overall, VentureConnect has evaluated over 400 start-ups and businesses desiring to attract the requisite funding in order to reach their full potential, thus further evidencing VentureConnect’s impressive track record since its launch.
We would be very pleased if you would like to be our guests at the 3 June 2015 event, with attendance being free-of-charge. Kindly confirm your participation by 27 May 2015 to Alexandra Pahomi, VentureConnect Project Manager: [email protected]. Finally, please note that information about the businesses to be pitched will be available after 22 May 2015.
We look forward to welcoming you at the event!
