COROB aims to develop a flexible, cooperative and intelligent multi-robotic solution for arc welding-based manufacturing processes (joining and additive manufacturing), to offer new operational capabilities that allow to increase the efficiency and improve the flexibility of industrial processes.
The purpose of the Open Call is to integrate and test innovative solutions within the COROB project’s framework. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of arc welding-based manufacturing processes by employing a cooperative multi-robot system powered by Inspection, Monitoring, Control, and AI techniques. This initiative seeks to advance multi-robotic solutions for welding-based manufacturing processes, fostering efficiency and flexibility through collaborative efforts and cutting-edge technologies.
The Open Call aims to attract applicants for two distinct funding instruments.
Funding Instrument 1: Solutions to challenges
Scope: Integration and testing of innovative technologies to add new capabilities on top of the project use cases.
Type of Applicants
- Single applicants
- Technology developers and integrators – SMEs and Start-ups.
- Other types of companies may apply and join the programme, but would not be granted with funding, only technical support
AMOUNT: up to € 150.000

DURATION: 12 months
Funding Instrument 2: Experiments for Enabling technologies for digital service
Scope: Integration and test innovative solutions enabling technology to provide a digital service applicable in the project use cases.
Type of Applicants
- Single applicants
- Technology developers and integrators – SMEs and Start-ups.
- Other types of companies may apply and join the programme, but would not be granted with funding, only technical support
